Hello, I am a local photographer in Ottawa, Canada. I’m pretty new to wildlife photography. I played acoustic guitar for over 30 years but chronic elbow tendinitis ended that…now what do I do? So I decided to buy a dSLR digital camera and was immediately hooked. After honing my skills through pics of family, friends and weddings, I found my calling with wildlife, mainly birds and whitetail deer as they are plentiful in this region. I find great satisfaction photographing birds and mammals and of course coming upon anything out of the ordinary.
